PracticeSafe is an online workplace safety training and induction platform. We provide comprehensive safety training courses including fire safety, workplace inductions, WHS/OHS compliance training, and more. Upon successful completion, you receive industry-recognized certificates with a validity period set per module.

Each module sets its own validity period, from 6 months to lifetime, and it is printed on the certificate. Twelve months is the common choice for workplace safety refreshers.

We'll send you reminder emails 30 and 7 days before your certificate expires so you can renew on time by retaking the course.

Yes! Every certificate includes a unique validation code and QR code. Employers can verify your certificate authenticity by:

• Scanning the QR code on your certificate
• Visiting our public verification page and entering the validation code
• Viewing the certificate details including issue date, expiry date, and module completed

Each module and course shows its price on its own page, in Australian dollars. Prices vary by module, and a course bundle is cheaper than buying its modules one at a time. A purchase includes:

• Full access to the training video
• Unlimited test attempts (until you pass)
• Your digital certificate the moment you pass, emailed as a PDF
• Certificate verification by QR code for as long as the certificate is valid
• Email reminders before the certificate expires

Site inductions run by your employer are always free for you. Businesses pay a monthly subscription (see "For businesses" below). Dollar-value vouchers are available for anyone who wants to pay for someone else's training.

You pay when you enrol, before the video and the test. You can read every module's description, length, pass mark and question count first.

After you pay:

• You keep access to the module for as long as its certificate is valid (shown on the module page)
• You can retake the test as often as you need at no extra cost
• Your certificate is never charged for separately
• When a certificate expires you can renew at the module's renewal price

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment gateway (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). All payments are processed securely and we never store your card details.

Yes! You can retake the test as many times as needed until you pass. There are no additional fees for retaking tests.

We recommend reviewing the training video again before retaking to improve your score.

The passing score varies by module but is typically 80% or higher. The exact passing score for each module is displayed before you start the test.

Most courses take 20-40 minutes to complete, including:

• Watching the training video (10-25 minutes)
• Completing the assessment (10-15 minutes)

You can pause and resume at any time - your progress is automatically saved.

If you haven't received your verification email after registering:

1. Check your spam/junk folder - our emails sometimes end up there
2. Wait a few minutes - emails can take up to 5 minutes to arrive
3. Try logging in - if you get an error about email verification, you can click "Resend verification email"

Yes! PracticeSafe is fully responsive and works on all devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. We recommend using a tablet or larger screen for the best video viewing experience.

Yes. A Business account lets an organisation create sites, build its own private inductions and invite workers, who complete them free. See "For businesses" below and our pricing page.

If you simply want to pay for someone else's course, buy a dollar-value voucher from the Vouchers page and give them the code.

We offer refunds in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a refund if:

• There's a technical issue preventing course access
• The service is not as described
• Other circumstances covered by Australian Consumer Law

We typically respond to emails within 24 hours during business days.

Choose "Instructor" when you register and tell us what you teach. We review every application and email you the outcome. Once approved, your Instructor studio lets you create modules and courses.

A module needs a title, a description, a training video, at least five questions and a price inside our range before it can be submitted. We check accuracy for Australian workplaces, wording, video quality and the quiz. We either publish it under your name or send it back with notes.

Editing a live module creates a draft. Students keep the live version until we approve your update, so nobody's test changes underneath them.

Every card sale of your module, or of a course containing it, records your share at the percentage shown on the pricing page, calculated after card processing fees. On the first of each month we generate a statement for the previous month and pay it through Stripe to the payout account you connect from your Earnings page. Stripe collects your identity, ABN and bank details; we never store them.

Refunds are deducted from your next statement. Voucher redemptions and free enrolments do not earn a share. Tax on your payouts is your responsibility.

Yes, within the range on the pricing page; we may adjust it at review. A course bundles your own published modules at one price and goes through the same review. Instructor content is general workplace safety training and is not nationally recognised or accredited.

Businesses can also buy your module in bulk for their workers at the volume prices on the pricing page; you earn your share on each pack, at purchase time.

Register as a Business, verify your email, and your console opens on a free trial. Create an induction module with your own video and questions, create a site, attach the inductions it requires, and add your workers' email addresses. Each worker gets an invite; they sign up as a student (or sign in), accept, and complete the induction free of charge.

You see who has completed what on the overview page, can export it as CSV, and can send reminders.

Plans are flat monthly prices in AUD including GST, shown on the pricing page, with a free trial and no card to start. Each plan includes a number of sites and active workers. A site is a workplace or project you create; an active worker is someone with an accepted invite to one of your sites. Inductions and invites within those limits are unlimited, and workers never pay.

When you reach a limit, new sites or invites pause until you upgrade. Nothing already created stops working, and if your subscription ends, existing inductions, records and certificates stay available.

No. Your inductions are private to your sites and are your responsibility. They are not nationally recognised training and each carries our standard disclaimer. Workers earn a certificate for each induction that you and they can verify by QR code.

Their invite status, their completion of your sites' required modules, due dates, and certificates for those modules including expiry. Their other training and purchases on PracticeSafe are private to them.

Yes. On the Training page pick a catalogue module and buy worker licences, seats, at a volume price that steps down with quantity. Assign the module to workers or teams like any other training; a seat is used when a worker first opens it, and it renews automatically from your remaining seats when the certificate expires unless you switch that off. Workers never pay.

Unused seats never expire. A pack is refundable while no seat has been used. The instructor who made the module is paid their share on your purchase.
